2010 Residential Incentives

The Energy Trust of Oregon has continued their incentive for purchase and installation of grid tied photovoltaic electrical power on residential property of $1.50 per watt installed ($20,000 maximum) until the funds are allocated for 2010. There are also Federal tax credits of 30% of the project and $6000 State tax credit incentives!

Remember, Energy Trust of Oregon incentives are ONLY available to Pacific Power Customers.

As a contractor/dealer I discount the Energy Trust incentive off of the total cost and have to wait until the system is running and inspected before I get the rest of the money. An Energy Trust inspector as well as the building inspector must approve the installation. This is to make sure you get a quality system that will produce power for years with virtually no maintenance. This is a good investment as all energy and electricity rates have continued to increase!

• Will produce $500.00 + of electricity per year (depends on shading, orientation and yearly weather).

Systems include quality PV modules and a quality Fronius inverter, all the equipment to complete the job. Electrician costs, freight and delivery to job are included as well as technical assistance, drawings, installation manual, operation manual, 25-year warranty on PV modules, 10 years on Fronius inverter. Conduit, wiring and electrician time are estimates only. South facing roof with little shade or land for ground/pole mounts is ideal. Additional cost for batteries, ground mounts, trackers, pole mounts, 2 + story roofs, or steep roofs.
