SUSTAINABLE WINEMAKING We recently installed 36 photovoltaic panels on the roof of the winery and calculate that this array will generate about half our former electrical use. The conservation measures and solar energy generation should combine over the course of a year so that the winery has no net electrical use. We are working on alternatives for the fossil fuels we use, including the use of biodiesel.
